Denim Style Two Tone Socks FW24 decka Quality socks by BRÚ NA BÓINNE あまり靴下で用いられることのない、強い特徴を持つ個性的な２種類の糸を引き揃えて編むことで、独特な印象のデザインに仕上げた。We have created a design BNBSW47 Purple Size1 あまり靴下で用いられることのない、強い特徴を持つ個性的な２種類の糸を引き揃えて編むことで、独特な印象のデザインに仕上げた。We have created a design that expresses unique aesthetics by knitting together two types of yarn that are rarely used in socks 無染色のオーガニックコットンと、廃棄予定だった食材から抽出した成分で染色したオーガニックコットンを組み合わせて編んだクッション性の高いパイルソックス。Cushioned pile socks knitted by combining undyed organic cotton with organic cotton dyed with ingredients extracted from food that was scheduled to be discarded ヴィンテージデニムのように色褪せていく風合いを靴下で表現したかったが、インディゴで染めるとどうしても靴への色移りを懸念せざるを得ず、これまで断念していた。そんな時に、一般的な染料ではあるものの、ヴィンテージデニムに使われる糸と同じ技法で染色された糸を見つけた。ニットという製造方法の中でヴィンテージデニムのような表現を実現するのは非常に難しいが、中心が白く残るその糸に耐久性の高いヘビーウェイトの編立を組み合わせることで、色移りしないという実用性を保ちながら、履くほどに風合いが増すヴィンテージデニムのような表情を表現できたのではないかと思う。I wanted to express the fading texture of vintage denim through socks I believe I was able to achieve a design that captures the character of vintage denim
